Lakeview Terrace is not "sub-par". If anything its underrated. Not great, but good. I would cite bad promotion for its poor performance. It seems like they touted it as some sort of "CRAZY-SAM-JACKSON-TERRORIZES-YOUNG-PEOPLE-BECAUSE-THEY'RE-A-MIXED-COUPLE!!!!" movie when it was more than just that.

Careful...You have to understand that the original Transformers was a work of its time. The 80s were a somewhat reprehensible period in terms of culture. You know, with the greed and all. The only good things to come out of it were seminal Japanese anime and Hip Hop.

Compared to its contemporaries the O.G. Transformers was Shakespeare. And I'm not joking. Watch an episode from the 2nd season. Rapier wit for "Saturday morning sprog-fodder".

In a "surprise" move for Michael Bay nearly all the Autobots are bankrupt GM vehicles. Christ. I remember when Transformers used to be about variety.

Also, why does bay have a knack for not having characters...stick to their characters? Seriously, first Jazz now Jetfire. bay makes no sense.
