he articulates Conservative values so well, because he is was a lobbyist who sold us out, getting paid to tell us what we needed to hear to be placated. That was literally what he was paid to do for Fannie & Freddie! He was like the prophet Balaam..... who needs friends like that?
Hopefully he is repentant, however, I don't trust him, AND he has put himself behind the other nominees who can be faithful to their wives! It's one thing to say 'everyone sins', but not everyone cheated on their wives! And THIS job involves trust and an oath that we take seriously! Someone who is not loyal, is not fit for this job, PERIOD! He can make a good living selling books, and going on talk shows though, maybe run for congress again..... what makes him think he should be a shoe in for President, all of a sudden?!
is he a man that does what he says he's going to do? Is he faithful and honest? Changing your position is legitimate, however, saying you are one thing and doing another is not. Newt has been the later as a politician. If he wants to say he's different now, than that means we have to judge his career from that point as well, which doesn't include any 'Reagan' stuff, or any awesome House Speaker singlehandedly saving the Nation stuff...... it does include a couch session with Pelosi though......
it also makes us hypocrites! Thats why Newt is the favorite of the leftists. He would destroy the Conservative movement for a generation!
Obama is on the same train, he's pimping his 'African American's for Obama' supporters to get into the church, and start Congregation Captains etc. Seems this type of thing would be at least similar to the money changer in the temple thing that kind of seemed to aggravate Jesus, maybe just a little bit......

Newt becoming the nominee equals Obama winning in a landslide! We will deserve the judgment we receive for being so apathetic and lazy as to allow these obvious wolves to prey on the flock! Maybe he repented, maybe not, thats between him and God. However, WE have a decision to make and there are some things to consider. One issue is the oath and who takes one seriously! Someone who will break his loyalty to his wife (and did so several times) will have an easier time doing so to his country. Too bad if he thinks it shouldn't matter, it does. None of the other nominees have betrayed 2 wives! Maybe he still has great ideas etc, so that means he can be a resource as an advisor, making good money and fighting for the cause, if he really believes in his positions. However, he is not the most honorable man seeking this position.....
Regarding the leftist media, you will be shocked to see how quickly they 'espouse' family values, once Newt got the nom.... Full 2 hour specials on the wonderful family man Obama, and how faithful to his wife he has been even in troubled times etc. (yeah, I know he got a hummer in the back of a limo from a dude he bought crack for, but that won't be official for another 5 years, until then, he's "golden"). Newt is Obama's man, because it makes all conservatives instant hypocrites!
so I just read a story about an atheist high schooler getting a 47 year old prayer plaque removed because she didn't like it; the progressives there said things like "its the law, separation of church & state..."; so I'm wondering why the hard core letter of the law isn't followed here? If one person doesn't like all the illegal aliens in the country, shouldn't he/she be able to get the illegals removed with the same support and enthusiasm from progressives?
He cares about the environment.... so much, that he logged all the trees to build his Sundance resort...., and his 'festival' brings in lots of extra cars/traffic/pollution and even extra... CO2!!! That last one is obviously good for the environment, but he supposedly believes it isn't and we should be taxed for it. Remember a long time ago when people joked saying 'if they could tax air...", well now they are trying! And by the way... NEWT was all for it!
so did I miss the part of the debate when Mitt Romney talked about how awesome a movieTransformers was? Or was it a press release by Romney touting the virtues of transformers? Or is Redford just mad that Sentinal Prime was a RINO like Newt and doesn't like a 'goody two shoes' like Romney/Optimus Prime... lol, very nerdy I know; but Comeon, Redford's a clown here!
