I have to go with oi812 on this one. Without Senators Collins and Snowe, Maine would probably fall into the 'D' column, and never come back. I take their ~50% Conservative voting record, and am happy to have it, from up there in snowy Stephen King land.

That's a fake picture, by the way. One of the coolest fakes ever, but still fake.

Here in Central Texas, the weather "experts" predicted all year that this would be a "very dry, almost drought-like" mild winter.

So far we have had one of the wettest Decembers on record. We got another two inches overnight and are over 5 inches for the month, with more on the way this weekend.

Oh, and it could snow, also, instead of rain, this weekend. In Central Texas.

I thoroughly trust these idiots to keep me informed about Global Warming... NOT.

Ask that sad-sack sack-of-crap Harry Reid how many people Michael Dell and Bill Gates employ, combined. I know they are "billionaires" and not "millionaires", but I believe a thousand million make a billion, so technically they are "millionaires".

No, he means "classic" GOOD movies like "Baby Face" (1930s) and "Ball of Fire" (1940s) where women NEVER slept around... oh, wait. Ok, he meant "The Girl Can't Help It" in the 50's or.. dang.

I can't find a decade without movies like this. 60's had hundreds of movies like this and 70's.. OMG that's all they put out (get it?) in the 70's. The 80's INVENTED movies like these as comedies.

I know, my dad hates it when I do this. But you can't selectively remember the past without it pushing one of my buttons. Hollywood has ALWAYS been as filthy as society will let them, and that will never change.

They don't have a problem with Useful Idiots like Matt Damon, Johnny Depp or George Clooney making $20 million for each movie, doing nothing but pretending to be someone they're not. No, only if you make a lot of money by actually WORKING do they have a problem.

They are all either Communists or Useful Idiots; either way, spoiled brats with nothing to live for.

The cops need to stop standing there, taking abuse. Put up a large sign that says, "if you abuse anyone, verbally or physically, or fail to follow our orders, you will be arrested immediately."

And then DO IT.

I just finished "The Fountainhead". Two words: Read It. Ok, three words: Read It Now.

Of course it cannot equal the masterpiece that is "Atlas Shrugged", but it is still an incredible book. You will LOVE it.

My problem now? Everything I pick up to read next is crap. What do you read next, after reading two books that change the way you look at the world?
