You know, the reason All in the Family was so successful is because it was funny...until it wasn't and was cancelled...and everyone knew it was satire. Pretending it was anything else is disengenuous.

I don't know, i couldn't find my birth certificate a few years ago and requested a copy from the city where i was born - took about 4 weeks and $15 to get it. Obama didn't do anything until Arizona passed a law that would have prevented him from being on their state ballot which would have been incredibly embarrassing.
I really dont watch network television anymore. Certainly not any of the "news shows". Saturday night Live hasn't been funny in decades now. I watched the premier of "Glee" and enjoyed it until the Palin jokes started. I didn't watch30 rock because of Alec Baldwin's previous anti-republican meltdown on national tv talk show and then of course Tina Fey's attempts to be funny impersonating again Palin. Law & Order, which i loved, was dead to me after inserting so much anti bush-cheney comments. i wont pay to see a film with Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, or Matt Damon let alone Danny Glover, Jeanine Garafalo or the like. Hollywood, NYC and their advertisers should know that I dont just vote every 4 years, i vote every day with my remote and with my choices at the movie theater. Its not that i wont see a movie starring, or made by a liberal, i respect other peoples rights to their own opinions. Its that i wont pay to be told how to think or that my opinion doesn't matter.
Of course, she is requesting a recount...and they will undoubtedly "find" a couple of boxes in uncounted votes in a barn just outside Madison. Its all been done before...Washington State...Minnesota....
Iran did attack our embassy and hold our diplomatic personnel for over a year. Iran is and has been killing US Servicemen and diplomats in Iraq and Afghanistan.
One point we need to correct. The bust of Winston Churchill was not given to the United States. It was loaned by former Brit PM Tony Blair to Former President George Bush and was according to the agreement returned to the British when pres Bush left office. I worked in the west wing for 2 years and this was always mentioned on the tour. The current President would probably have kept it, as I am sure he sees himself as having the same leadership & vision as Winston Churchill.
Pres Bush timed his day in 5 minute intervals - and was never late!
