I must admit when I saw the preview, I said to myself," hey there is another anti-military anti war film I can miss, now you have me thinking about seeing it! That being said, why the lame preview being shown in theatres?
Buckley is looking down saying " see I told you he was a creep" though I am sure he says it in more errudite form.
All of the "arts" come up with this kind of language who's intention is to make them sound smarter than they are....while in college for "Fine Arts" I grew to loath the descriptions of "my images" during critiques. UGH! what pompous a-holes. I moved between calling them "my pictures" or "this snap shot" blah blah blah...its soooooooo tedious.
cruising for chicks in a really low tech kinda way
Joe Wilson was rude, its caused a distraction that is unecessary, but that serves those that want the distraction. I thought the barbeque at the Oyster Festival was quite good...I had the ribs. The hispanic pastor was treated rudely but he too was rude for insisting on speaking in a language that required translation for most of the people there when he was capable of speaking the dominant(of the crowd) language. I think that he was a plant, but maybe Im being paranoid. Rude is the norm, sad but true, but not new. If you dont like what the president says just dont clap, dont boo like they did to the last guy...but that was ok right? Dont worry the camera's will pan around and show your displeasure.
Speaking of beating a dead horse that bubblehead Boucher thinks that if they get rid of the land the need for the road will just go away. What a freekin ditz, when Fairfield County stops allowing itself to be treated like the redheaded stepchild of CT and remind those big spenders in Hartford where they get the money for all those lovely roads in and around the burbs of Hartford maybe we will get somewhere. While Im at it here, Bob Duff who while in the majority party is essentially useless for getting us any respect here at least beats this drum often enough it makes me think he may actually believe in the project...too bad the fellow Dems treat him like the baby brother that gets to play in the football game right before dinner time and not before. ( Sorry I forgot to say the obligatory,) "but he really is a nice guy"...there happy? Can we elect one of the big kids to go to Hartford this time...please?
OldTimer, when my OB worked every holiday and told his wife they couldnt go on vacation in March because that was when I was due, I said, ya know whatever he is bringing home good for him. When my husbands Neurologist gets paged at church during the holidays and misses meals and significant events with his family because some old lady is stroking out my first thoughts are not "gee he gets paid waaay too much. To the best of my knowledge none of these physicians are living all that large, and I am going to be sitting down with my family and friends eating turkey when they are at the hospital working. Open up the insurance market, lets see what competition will do
Oh, may I fawn, please may I? this post by turfgrrl is too funny too true and too good not to be read by all. Too bad nobody reads the Hour anymore...maybe if they put the Letters to the Editor opposite the Obituary page. Might hit a little too close to home....just a thought. Thanks for giving me something to laugh at today.
Here is the thing...we know that you have "already made up your mind" we know that. But you are asking US to work more so you can spend more of our money...thats the issue, the LEAST you could do is actually act like YOUR working.
So one question...when it come the time where you vote on your own pay increases, how are you going to vote?
Does this mean they think its a "dead issue"? If that the truth then I can get behind it.
