Thank you Sue for the information about the Food Network and its sponsors. I am sending off letters today to the various executives, and I will no longer buy the products advertised on the Food Network. It's time they understood that without fans, they won't have a network. And I agree with you that writing to Bob and Susie is useless. I have sent two e-mails to Bob directly and haven't even received the courtesy of one of those "thank you for writing, you will receive an answer shortly" auto-replies. For pete's sake, even e-Bay sends auto replies when you write to them.

Sorry, Susie, I don't buy it. Clearly Debbie has won, and you're just trying to prepare us all. I have totally lost faith in the Food Network; in addition to the way the judges have handled this program, I've noticed that when I watch a program and then go to download the recipe, often the online recipe does not match the program! The quantities are different, the techniques are different, and I can only conclude that the chefs either don't want us to succeed at making their precious recipes or that no one checks them. Sorry to tell you you've lost me as a viewer, but I doubt that you care.

I want to add my voice to those who cannot stand Debbie. She should have been gone weeks ago. But then I'm beginning to wonder about the overall integrity of Food Network stars. For example, even though NO OTHER star does commercials for outside products, we have Paula Deen doing them for Smithfield products. And anyone who has seen the movie Food, Inc. (and if you haven't, you should) knows what a terrible company Smithfield is. And now that some of them are hawking their wares on QVC, who, really, can we trust?
