Absolutely. Let's protest logging state forests. We have a couple of counties down on their knees. Let's kick the stuffing out of them.
In-Your-Facebook has made a number of changes without so much as a thought about the people who use it. Hard to complain too strenuously when it is free. But at some point people are going to get fed up and go elsewhere.
Unfortunately, there is another scenario. The Obama administration has shifted the policy to only deport those who have committed a "crime". The president does not appear to consider entering the U.S. illegally a crime. But, then again, he doesn't consider violating his oath of office and ignoring the Constitution a crime either.
Ah. But now Obama's administration is refusing to support the portions of the Arizona law that were upheld. I keep wondering if it is more than just pandering for latino votes. Only thing that comes to mind is that some of Obama's family members are/were in the U.S. illegally.
Don't backseat drive? Doubt that is sufficient reason to toss someone out of a car. More likely alcohol, drugs, or just plain crazy.
Looks like your implied one is the only one.
The percent of illegitimate babies to teenagers in Texas was brought up the other day by a relative (who will take any opportunity to bash Bush). A bit of research showed that not only is Texas not the worst state for illegitimate births but hispanic teens have the highest rate of illegitimate births of any group. All those illegal teen females who made it into Texas (and elsewhere) are having anchor babies as fast as possible. How else can they get public assistance and a chance for Obama's next amnesty program?
Think about it. Think about it without an anti-gun, anti-Bill of Rights prejudice. This is a big reason people own guns. Had the teen not reacted quickly, calmly, and with an available weapon, he and his siblings may well have all ended up dead. Protection of home and family seems like a very good reason to own a gun. It isn't "joyous exuberance", it is survival and protection of family.
In an unscientific survey, it seems to me that criminals are becoming increasingly violent lately. Hit in the face during a robbery, people tied up and beaten in home robberies, and on and on. It couldn't be all the gratuitous violence we are subjected to day after day on TV, could it?
Maybe a new bridge really is needed. But then again everyone wants it. Just don't want to have to pay for it.
