I want to slit my wrists just listening to this. No wonder these morons are so depressed.
I loved the movie tremendously until the last five minutes; I absolutely hate the way the Coen Brothers end movies :o(
He makes me sick and I don't know why I even wasted 30 seconds of my happy election day on his drivel. Hopefully he'll find a rock to crawl under.
As a racehorse lover, and one who also remembers watching Secretariat run back in the day, I am definitely going to see this movie. I long for the day we have another Triple Crown winner who can inspire a new generation of racing fans (Smarty and Barbaro broke my heart) ... but until then I will hold on to the past greats and enjoy the retelling of Secretariat's story.
Thanks so much to everyone involved in saving Lucky from his prison ... hopefully he'll be on the road to a safe home with a loving family, the very least that this senior dog deserves. Sometimes there is a happy ending.
I'll watch for a bit, I like some of the actors in the show. There is, for me, a LOST resemblance which will have to tide me over for a while until I quit grieving about LOST. I guess this is why the plane's disappearance didn't bother me in the slightest. Another great character actor, Clifton Collins Jr., will be joining the cast later. The President's name, by the way, is Martinez.
Thanks for bringing me back to my childhood with the "Dark Shadows" memories. Still one of my all-time favorite shows; next time the convention is back here in NJ I will definitely attend. Haven't watched "True Blood" but maybe I'll start now that I've seen your comparison.
Dangergirl, you are 100% spot on.
