I agree with the general theme about influence of positive and negative energy and with Rajeev about the benefits of Yoga, which I too practice. I also want to stress the importance of keeping grounded and connected throughout the Reiki process, whether preparing for, conducting or cleaning up after performing Reiki or studying and meditating or going through a healing or attunement process. A memorable lesson from my Reiki guide is "follow simple rules". I sometimes have to remind myself of this. But I try and regularly check in during practice and throughout the day to ensure that I remain grounded and connected. This helps keep the positive energy flowing in and any negative, flowing out. I also "clean up" before and after each session and at the beginning and end of each day, using techniques like Kenyoku-ho (dry bathing) and Qi Gong. Pranic healing, which I also practice, has a number of simple, easy to use means for regularly ridding oneself of dirty or negative energy. This has been a great help to me and and ma may be to you too. With blessings. Jerry
