After watching the first episode, I saw all 8 episodes in one sitting it was that good. I spent a whole Saturday mesmerized. I laughed in every episode. It was such a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend it.

His Super PAC bit went nowhere so now he's shifted gears and is going nowhere with a phony Presidential bit. How does this guy have a show?

I loved Gleeson since Braveheart (remember who?) and this movie was fantastic. I loved Cheadle as the sophisticated FBI agent who can't understand the country-bumkin Gleeson. The end of the movie is thrilling and leaves open the question for a sequel. Great movie.

I think Dexter, Boardwalk Empire and the new Homeland fit right in. I loved 24 but you are right, there is only so many times a corrupt US government official can work with terrorists for Jack to save us from.

We started losing our freedoms when Stevie Ray Vaughn died and we were stuck with George Michael and Justin Bieber

I love this show. It does have some scenes that are like dead air but for the most part its well done. Sunday nights are so good this year with Boardwalk, Dexter and Homeland. Last night's Homeland was awesome. The show keeps you guessing, but you end up where your suspicions take you.

Speaking of dead air. I have officially written off 'The Walking Dead." That show is all melodrama and no zombies. If I wanted bad overacting with occasional sex I'd watch a soap opera.

For those who say that we do not have a current federal sales tax...what do you call this?

If one remembers the original, it had the ridiculous habit of everyone a) smoking in every scene and b) opening and closing doors. No one stayed in their rooms, they were always walking out the door. In addition the monster was an oversized carnivorous plant. The 1982 remake did a great job of creating the isolation of the Antarctic base. You could also feel the cold through the actors. And it was ingenious in creating a creature that gobbled up victims and then replicated their looks. Plus the soundtrack was awesome.
