I'm not sure I understand why uploading a photo onto LinkedIn is so important. Why should it matter whether or not the employer can see your face? Just because LinkedIn tells us that uploading a photo makes our profiles 5% more complete, is it really going to hinder our chance at being hired? I personally find that doubtful, but I do agree that LinkedIn is a understated social network and gives applicants an advantage at getting hired. Undergrads should definitely use it more often.
