I found an LA Times story about the 1994 boycott of Florida Orange for hiring Rush to be the Florida Orange Juice's spokesman. The left back then was saying he hated women and gays and yet Carbonite was a sponsor of his show for how many years? http://articles.latimes.com/1994-06-24/news/mn-80...

Carbonite dropping Rush is a result of leftist activists calling and calling and calling his sponsors to get them to stop advertising and nothing else.

I just called to cancel Carbonite and the rep said to just delete the software from my computer. So, I asked about a refund for the 2 years left that I had prepaid and he said I would have to reply to an email from them identifying myself so they could put the refund on the card that I used. I said I wanted that email because the only reason I was cancelling was the CEO decided to drop Rush and the rep said he supported me!

This whole contraceptive feint is to rile up the youth vote. Those Republicans want to take away your contraception!!!

Carbonite fell to the activists and has ended their advertising on Rush. I am cancelling Carbonite today and buying a fire proof vault to keep my hard drive backups. This is the 2nd time I have stood up for Rush. The first time was in the early 1990's when NOW tried to launch a boycott against Florida Orange for having Rush as their spokesman. That time all I had to do was buy a carton of FL orange juice!

Here is the Buffett tax I am for:

1. Additional 30% tax on those who claim they are not taxed enough.
2. Another 25% tax on those who claim they are not taxed enough yet whose accountants are fighting over taxes owed already
3. Another 25% tax on those who claim they are not taxed enough and are for the death tax yet they pour millions into various tax free trusts

On that day, the left moved very much towards the right and stayed in the center until Spring of 2002. When they say Bush had 90% approval and the country was united, they act as if he had moved leftward. In early 2002 the left realized there was an election to be won in the Fall. From that point BDS reared its ugly head. Imagine if they had stayed in the center how quickly the Iraq war would have been won and the killing of Bin Laden would have happened years ago instead of just months ago. Their response to Saddam Hussein's capture: I don't FEEL safer. Geez, if they had only remained human and not resorted to political cheep shots. Imagine.....
