typical teamster talk here, only looking out for union jobs. What union do you belong to? Funny how the unions try to take away our private liquor sales, commit terrorism at the port of longview, strike Boeing enough for them to move some operations in S.C. and now you want to take away LOTS of potential jobs and our sports teams. Unions for unions.

i think you answered your question, just like drinking on the job, e.g. you smoke while work, it will be treated as being drunk at work.

"I hope this follows you the rest of your life."

Really? Ruin somebody's whole life, and you think that is justified?

Sad but true, what benefit to society will giving this teenager a record? Make him volunteer at harborview burn unit his whole summer, make him pay a huge fine that he has to work off, don't give him something he can't get rid of even if he pays back his debt to society.

Yea lets give this kid a record for a stupid mistake that will teach him! This is what is wrong with this country. People don't even stop to think what they are saying. Yes what he did was stupid and reckless, but does that justify giving him a permanent record? Make him pay a big fine, do community service, be on probation, but dont give him something that will follow him the rest of his life. These charges you want to charge him for will never go away. We all have done stupid sh*t at 18, the difference is that we never got caught. Imagine if this reckless incident wakes him up and he straightens out, works hard, goes to school, does everything right from here on out. Then when he tries to go out into the real world, he can't get a job because of a dumb mistake years ago.

That's ok lets have the police catch them and give them all criminal records. You know so that they cannot get loans for college or a decent job. Hey it's OK we live in a society that glamorizes pot use(snoop dogg, harold & Kumar, cheech n chong etc.), but as soon as kids decide to toke up and get caught its a criminal record that stays with them for the rest of their life. No contradiction here, War on drugs for the win.

Note to self: If you're gonna use sarcasm on Komo discussion board, you're gonna have a bad time.

My religion clearly states that marriage is between Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. It's my right to force my religious beliefs on to other people. The gays and lesbians are taking away my rights and oppressing my religious beliefs! Haha I think that's how the argument goes.....
