8b - he acknowledged the bereaved in his last sentence. He thinks it's time to move on and many probably agree with him. Do you really believe the NI justice system is capable of rendering fair justice regarding the troubles?

Many police services have only to deal with traffic, assaults etc. In Ni the Past and the marching season are too much alone. Why not rid yourself of one of these?

kpj- David Ford has said the information "which I entirely accept is not yet evidence" regarding Adams. Does that sound like a confident Justice minister to you or someone backpeddling.? Fair play will cause many of those in the undecided ranks to vote SF.

If alliance finds itself damaged by Mr Ford's poor leadership who gains?

You are right about turning the other cheek also. It is not possible to administer fair justice regarding the troubles.

"nobody is above the law" You are right BRN. Except in NI. When will PSNI be arresting the Ballymurphy shooters? They won't be and you know it. It's time to agree on a mechanism to deal with the past. Amnesty or lite sentencing for the truth. Yes it will be hard for many to accept including the families in Ballymurphy.

The justice Dept. is in need of far better leadership than David Ford is providing.
