A friend of mine, we would go up to Rattle Snake Ledge(near Northbend), she would get like almost to the edge while my instinct of survival says don't go any farther. Later in the year some guy hiking with a girl, he fell off that ledge. Bummer.

Unless I have climbing rope attached to that big ass rock up there, I am not going close to the edge without support.

The people are proud but if this was any similar to when the US lost to Canada last year in the Olympics, this would probably be just as bad or even worse, I was downtown with thousands of people watching in the pubs and outside when we were in the hockey game for the Olympic GOLD in 2010, and I was worried what would happen if won over the Canadian's, their game, on their turf. Fortunately for our safety they pulled out a maple puck in overtime and won the gold. There were some people walking around with US flags around their backs. It would probably have been bloody if the US had won.

After Canada won, the streets filled with thousands of more people celebrating, I can imagine now what it would have looked like had we won.

I was down in Oregon a few years back visiting a relative, I went to a private little store, it was great! No kids buying alcohol since it the availability was rampant.

The last WA state initiatives I voted NO since they were only for the big companies, because Costco could buy direct, they could undercut all the little stores with volume pricing. So I voted no.

This new ballot measure is saying small stores will NOT be able to sell liquor. I have not read the specifics but it sound the same. It is only for the big companies.

In the end I will vote yes on a initiative that lets anyone sell alcohol with a liquor license. If not, it is a big NO.

This sure is jolting a lot of nerves. Today you can lease your own T1 from the phone company, from there you and other people can all get T1 connections and start your own internet outside of the one we know now run by ICANN.

So the only thing that I see happening here is people are just a bunch of whiners because they don't want to pay.

There is a solution to this is to create a competing Internet. And people can choose which they want. The 2 can connect to each other if you pay a higher fee. Since lets say Apple is on internet1 and Microsoft is on Internet2, you want see both of them. Sort of like ordering HBO and not Cinemax Etc.

This is so complex I don't want to think about it anymore. One thing that concerns me is that my VOIP at my work could suffer is it is overloaded by Netflix etc. VOIP is the best and worst thing that has happened to Telephone.

One strand of fiber can hold Thousand of phone calls into one building.

I could keep on going on and on.

What can you say about humans who do this kind of thing, no conscience? When I read that 2 kittens died holding each other, just total heartbreak when you hear about such a thing.

Not good, we need to teach people to eat well and read labels, create community dinners where people teach each other to cook so we can undo all this salt and other things in our diets.

That is true but I think it is just to please the insurance company. If you start going HD, the thieves will start to either damage all the cameras or use more clothing/coverings. All you can do it do your best to protect people in the bank.
