Oh, yes. this line sounds awful familiar ... it's always the West's fault.

And where would Iran and the rest of the ME oil states be without a market for there oil?

Go figure!

"It's a policy that no other developed county follows."

And one of the reasons we're moving rapidly in the direction of being a third-rate country, so far in debt we'll never get out of it, and headed toward no longer being a superpower.

As you can recall, from 2007 to 2010 the Democrats had the House and the Senate, then they got the White House, and for two years they had the White House, the House, and the Senate, after two years of total control of Congress. In other words, the Democrats had total control of Congress for four years. Two of those years they also had the White House. Those two years are the first two years of Obama ... and when all of the wild and crazy spending and big-time deficit increases started. Currently, the Democrats control the Senate and the White House, and no law can be passed without the approval from both those bodies. The Republicans controlling the House can't stop anything.

And noteworthy is the fact that back in March of this year, the CBO forecasted that the Obama administration's spiraling deficit will hit $1.2 trillion in the 2012 fiscal year which will end a few weeks before Election Day. The revision pushes the deficit up by another $100 billion and it will likely climb higher before the fiscal year ends. This is the fourth straight trillion dollar-plus deficit under Obama's presidency and the highest in U.S. history. This means the entire national debt exceeds our gross domestic product (GDP):

He came into office in 2009 with thousands of proposals to spend trillions of dollars and has run up annual deficits totaling more than $5.2 trillion that have pushed total debt to over $15 trillion.

This means the entire national debt exceeds our gross domestic product (GDP), the measure of all the goods and services we produce each year. In other words, Obama is spending beyond our means.

Obama's record-shattering deficits are as follows: $1.4 trillion in 2009; $1.3 trillion in 2010; $1.3 trillion in 2011; and an estimated $1.2 trillion in 2012.

The problem, Jay, is that besides being at heart an Islamo-appeasing leftist, she's also as loony as her clients.

Good point ... and one that the leftists at Think Progress wouldn't even consider.

It appears to be a simple matter of those 'journolists' being so far deep in the tank for Obama that they just don't care.

Sorry, 'Democrat 4 Life', but it's you that's the "idiot" (your word not mne). Like most Democrats, you sound off with half-baked accusations based on rumors, not facts, and lack the mental capacity and mental energy to check yourself before running off at the mouth with something stupid.

I won't bother explaining just how dumb your statement is ... I'll let you read it for yourself at Snopes.com. Unlike you and your fellow Democrats, Republicans, and especially conservatives, actually check, and double check (you're confused - focus on "electors" if your dim brain allows it) the facts before we put something in writing. We prefer to convince with truth and wisdom, rather than with spin, rumor, and innuendo.

For the sake of the country, that best not be the case. Besides, I think Romney's a much better and smarter campaigner than McCain.

As for the party being under the control of the "extreme right wing" -- if that's referring to those wanting smaller and smarter government, adherence to the Constitution, and belief in capitalism and the free market system, I think that's a good thing and that far more people support these than some might believe.

Not suggesting Romney's the perfect candidate or that he was my first choice (none of the primary candidates were) ... but right now he's America's best shot at solvency and essential adherence to the Constitution.

Sounds like you're beginning to get the picture.

Also, remember that McCain lost on the 'economy' ... with the electorate buying into Obama's laughable claim that he could fix it. Since then Obama's proven he has no experience and no ability to manage anything, much less the federal govt. On the other hand, Romney's management expertise, experience, and skills are genuine and indisputable. As for him being a moderate ... you and I would have preferred someone more conservative and more dynamic, but primary voters have selected Romney and he's got an excellent chance at getting the independents needed to take him to victory - provided conservatives will do their part and go to the polls in droves to dump Obama and save the country. Meanwhile, voters are clearly beginning to warm to Romney - with 7 months to go.
