Early alpha footage? My apologies, I'm not sure I understand the question. I had access to the final release build and I had not been invited to the alpha. Could you please elaborate?

From gamers to game makers, it's an awesome success story, as well as a great game! Wish they were getting a little more attention, but it's a tough season for new IP's right now. Fantastic game!

You hit the nail on the head my friend! EA had no issues with all of this before. Note that Dragon Age DLC was available on Steam, but M*** Effect 2 DLC was not. ME@ DLC could ONLY be purchased through the EA/Bioware Social Network route for the PC version. This never caused any problems until Origin was entered into the picture. I find it very interesting that EA is extremely vocal and doing interviews and shifting blame and Valve is very quiet about the situation. My thinking? That's because Valve didn't pull the rug out from under EA and change their TOS, they've been the same for quite some time, they have no explaining to do, because they've done nothing wrong, they've just watched a valued partner make some bad decisions, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are there to pick up the pieces when EA and Origin fall flat.

EDIT : Ummm......really? I can't type Mass Effect?! That's M A S S Effect for those of you thinking I may have put something sinister in there!

Haha, I wish I could, sorry bro, if I could, I would be first on that list. In all fairness tho, I played this on a laptop, at a 1366x768 res, and most in-game settings at 'Medium', and it looked gorgeous. Granted, I have an ok video card, with 1gb vram, but I don't think that makes it a gaming rig, by anyone's standards. I could have bumped the settings up, but with the massive amounts of units in battles, it would chug slightly on higher settings. Still, I don't think using a lower res and lower settings, that I missed out on anything, or that the game suffered. I think, if it's playable, like that, it only gets better, if you do have a really tricked out PC to play on.

I like the Challenge missions too, wish they would do a duel mode or something too. It sucked that you unlocked a sick amount of costumes in the first game, and there was nothing to do them in. I wish they would have more of a reason for you to get those costumes and motivation for you to use them in duels, challenges, or something other than just the campaign. I agree, they did need more fleshing out tho.

Jedi Knight was amazing, all of them. I couldn't agree more, I wish they had done the series in the Old Republic days, rather than the Lucas Trilogy timeline. They would have lost the allure and selling point of Vader's Secret Apprentice, but it would have made more sense and not blown that 'Dark Ages/dark times' theory out of the water. Not only is Starkiller waaaay too powerful, but look at so many of the enemies, how many Jedi are floating around(when they have all supposedly been exterminated), and all of the cool forces the Imperials have at their disposal----that suspiciously are absent from Episodes IV, V and VI! Strange how they have all these Dark Troppers and sick, huge carbonite spewing flamethrowing droids that never appear in those movies! They broke their own storyline---but the first was still a good game.
