It is ironic that being an artist I can see that there is a problem out there, and I want to create art to address it. The funny thing is that the problem I see is that people won't admit there is a problem with our healthcare system, and that it needs to change. Wow, Yosi didn't even call me and I thought of that all on my own. We're not all mindless sheep. Stop insulting someone and come up with some constructive solution.

And putting this nation to war in a country that had nothing to do with 911 isn't justifiable for impeachment?

Wow. I cannot believe that with over hundreds of comments and thousands of insults thrown out that no one has mentioned the simple fact that NO MONEY changed hands here. Oh, and another important fact that some of you great art patrons out there should enjoy is that individual artists cannot get funding from the NEA. This was established by another brilliant Republican, Jessie Helms. Who instead of fixing a broken system, took away any opportunity for any rising artist almost twenty years ago. What kind of artists do you folks enjoy, Thomas Kinkade? When Yosi was asking for artists to "push" for what they wanted to see happen in Healthcare or Environmental Energy Reform, I doubt these artists would just mindlessly crank out what you imply the leftist liberals want. Most artists I know love this country just as much as their neighbor, and are not the mindless sheep that is so often being implied. Are you happy with your healthcare as it is? I wouldn't mind seeing some art suggest a positive change. Before anyone else is crucified on this site, I think someone should find a smoking gun. I think a lot of the people posting are just now smelling the effects of the worst presidency we've ever had. No, I'm not talking about this administration. He hasn't been in office long enough to cause the kind of trouble that we're dealing with now. And seriously, if you all believe that artists really should receive no money from the NEA, please put your money where your mouth is and go out and buy an original work of art from an artist. If that were to ever happen, the NEA would be redundant.
