The Canadian company is offering up seven billion dollars of their own money, and has oil in the ground they need to get to market. Wait for what? Our government to adopt a realistic energy policy? China is going green too, but they've been buying up reserves of energy and strategic materials across the globe, with heavy government financial support. They are t least securing the future for their people, while we let a small group of activists determine our global policies? Pure politics with gross disregard for the American people.
Actually there are lots of jobs available in the tar sands of northern Alberta, and Canada has low unemployment. My wife's uncle is the pastor of a church in Ft McMurray AB. There are always job openings
You left out that the government chose the route among options presented. A pipeline spill is a big scare? Can you recall the last land spill of more than ten gallons??
To you enviros, the choice is between one pipeline over land, and a supertanker across the ocean every day. Taxes? 18.4 cents per gallon, times 42 gallons to a barrel, times 750,000 barrels a day. Exactly where do we get the billions lost in tax revenue? How about the tens of thousands of jobs? Obama is a coward for putting off his decision till past the election, we know he'll veto it anyway, after all, the price of energy will necessarily rise.
It gets worse. I have a friend in Canada who took the paid 16 weeks, plissé additional unpaid time, went back for four or five months, and then took another 16 weeks off for a SECOND baby. In France the only way to fire someone is to go out of business, and I'n the Nordic countries, all day care centers are run by the government. College students, even part time can draw welfare and get free rent. One woman I London with four kids was getting $8,000 a MONTH for a housing allowance while unemployed. It's a wonder anyone is willing to work when they have to pay 50% income taxes and the non-working are far better off.
Federal governments don't pay for squat, they take your money and dole it out to potential voters. What was sobering to me I'n the article was that 80% of the public thinks it's a great idea.
Natalie, so what happens if you actually find something? All you'll be doing is reinforcing the paradigm you've adopted that you can't trust men. Either he wants to be with you or he doesn't. If he's committed to you, he'll reject every advance. If you're trying to keep him, but don't demand the respect of commitment, you'll never get it.
This has nothing to do with your boyfriend, and you need some serious help. Glancing at a text message? Ok, you're insecure. Mining for passwords and monitoring mail, etc, is deranged, and I might add, criminal. Focus your efforts on figuring out and understanding what makes you so insecure in the first place. Hint, it's not him, or anyone sending him a text.
What are the fire code issues with internal lights? Do you have to use a certain type of fixture/bulb, or is there fire retardant coroplast? Jeff, the company selling the coro-claw listed above also sells the sheets in a dozen colors. 4mm appears to be the standard.
While I applaud your efforts and the video, you clearly were trespassing. Next time, look up his home address and approach him on public property, like every day for a week. Film through his windows from the sidewalk. Promote his home address, his license plate, what kind of car he drives, etc. Use his own tactics against him. Leave information about him "just lying around" Oh this is fun!
So you think it's ok for Apple to determine what you can read on a device you paid $500-$900 for? And I bet you think Bill Gates is evil too.
