Am I the only one that interpreted the ending differently? I didn't see it as "teasing whether or not she'll get he Mark", I saw it as them zooming in on Scootaloo looking at her wings, showing that despite Rainbow Dash's speech, and the song reprise, and them winning the competition, the thought of whether or not she'll be able to fly was still on her mind (and also reminding the viewer that that plot thread wasn't yet complete), which she then shook off by making the dumb crack about getting flag-waving Cutie Marks.

I couldn't help but facepalm at that line due to the similarity to IdiotDash's line at the end of Friendship is Witchcraft's Episode 7.
Twilight: "Applejack, WE'RE your friends!"
Dash: *Pops into view* "I'M Rainbow Dash!"
