He was released after posting a $10,000.00 bond?! So he basically only had to come up with $1000.00 to bond out. Wow. My heart really goes out to the victims and their families.
When the former president reformed the Social Security system, it meant that people my age or under would never be able to receive it. With the new program, we will have Social Security at least until 2036. As far as the unemployment extension, half is paid by the feds and the other half by the former employer and workers who pay for unemployment insurance. As far as national debt, I believe we had a surplus when Clinton was in office but Mr. Bush felt it was more important to wage a illegal war and give tax breaks to the most wealthy U.S. citizens.
If your going to put yourself out there as an example of someone who would be hurt by the proposed tax reform (which I doubt would affect him unless he was pulling in $160,000.00 a year) then expect to be looked into. For someone who was such a "patriot" why would you then sue your local government. This guy has had his fifteen minutes (and I'm sure payed well by the GOP) he needs to just get on with his life.
There is a God! First of all for term limits and the fact the Hoekstra was defeated. Having lived in the Holland area, lets just say the mind set is "if your not Dutch (reform) your not much.
Wonderful. Maybe Mr. Proos might have a solution to why so many of the clients I have that have been unemployed for a number of months can find jobs. I think it was the republican party that voted against the unemployment benefits extension. Thankfully, the filibuster failed and so many that are living below the poverty level can at least eat and afford gas money to seek jobs, I'm thankful for the auto industry bail out that Mr. Obama was able to pass. Unlike the Wall Street bailout, they have to pay it back and have created jobs in Michigan that could help those who have suffered the most be able to hold their heads up again. Mr. Proos...we need someone who is for the people of this state. Not another Upton.
