I gotta get a Mac! Anyone know how to change the boot logo for a 3GS on 3.1.2 F/W, with a Windows system. Apparently, logome (available in Cydia) doesn't work on F/W 3.0 and above.

Nick does a good job with this tutorial, but the last thing he writes is "One problem I had is that there’s no MMS". To me, that is a big drawback. Is this JB really worth losing MMS?

Thanks for the info Charlie. Just to confirm, 3GS / 3.1 FW, never jailbroken, Windows PC, will just have to wait til a jailbreak comes out. This workaround will NOT work. Correct?
