No, Ah-nuld, no! Don't be a girly man, pushed around by an ornery bunch of Indians. If fish are so damned important, why not a two-year moratorium on all gill-netting, sport-fishing, and the like? Keep South Korean factory trawlers off the coast. Scoop up the big blob of garbage floating out by Hawaii. But attack gold prospecting based on fake data? The truth is that fish spawn on the downstream side of an island, and gold prospectors work the upstream end where the heavies settle. Fish spawn in the gravels, and dredges work the middle of the river. Recreational prospectors REMOVE mercury from the rivers that has sat there since the 1860s, they don't put it there. This tribe has been gunning for gold dredgers for years, but it won't solve anything. The last time I worked the Klamath, above Happy Camp, I got an ear infection because the water was so filthy. It smelled like a sewer.

Pat Buchanan said what? Who would expect him to agree with anything Obama does? Yet here he is, adding a reasoned call for measured patience. Anyone who can favorably evoke both LBJ and Ronald Reagan in the same posting should be OK, but sometimes Buchanan drives me nuts.
My compliments to the posters; Great info here.

What a bunch of sourpusses commenting here. I like the symbol of my President honoring the fallen at D-Day, poking the eye of the Iranian idiot-in-chief, and trying to get Islam to start policing itself and rein in the nut-cases who don't think anyone is pure enough.
