Bring out the American in you and come to Arizona and see what everyone is talking about these days. Settling for less than the best is not how this country was built and settling for less then what is proper and legal is not a course Arizona will set for the future. Arizona leading America home again. Governor Brewer working for all Americans to set a course for the future.

Arizona isn't against immigration they actually welcome immigration. This law focuses on ILLEGAL immigration. Big difference between immigration and ILLEGAL immigration. The state of Arizona is exercising their right as a state to place into law the laws that uphold law and order.
March if you like that is a legal right for citizens. ILLEGALS marching would be doing so illegally.

The important thing about the 1986 Immigration Act is the United States made the effort. Thank you EagleKeeperAZ for feeling the desert, mountains, and summer monsoons. Arizona is a great state and filled with wonderful opportunities for law abiding citizens.

A select few cannot determine which laws they choose to follow or ignore. America was not built on anarchy but on co-operation and hard work. Even with the amnesty of 1986 there has and continues to be disregard for the law by ILLEGAL aliens. Consequences for the illegal actions must be put into place. There are always consequences for actions and a select group of people should not receive special treatment for breaking the law. That would be discrimination. Our President in 1986 moved forward, I believe with the best of intentions.

These are great days for Arizona to stand up and say that enough is enough. All the businesses and citizens of Arizona will be fine. Sometimes it's not about the $$$$ it's about doing the right thing.

At the ranch we think the right thing is horseback riding, great food, great friends, great mountains and you bet-- the smell of a summer monsoon.

Actually in November of 1986 I believe there was an amnesty for illegals at that time. There would be a 24 year span so it appears if someone was working here 30 years illegally than they evaded that opportunity. One would have to ask why even when given the opportunity the preference was still to disregard the law.

It's not about immigration it is about ILLEGAL immigration. If everyone disregarded the law there would be total anarchy. People cannot just decide to disregard the laws they don't like - and require the laws they do support.

I would be interested in finding out how an ILLEGAL immigrant actually pays taxes since the ILLEGAL immigrant would not even be eligible for a SS card.
