So Councilman Skalla has an issue with them spending LESS for chairs than they did eight years ago? And the new ones come with a seven year guarantee to boot. These dispatchers need to be comfortable - I don't want to have to call 911 and have one of them squirming around not paying attention to my call because of an aching back.

I actually saw the 'bomb disposal' truck racing towards Kinsbury yesterday with several other police vehicles and wondered what was up (or if I should duck & cover, lol!) So glad to know no one was hurt when that could have been so much worse!

And again - sorry charlie, but there are a lot of elderly people who are too stubborn to give up the wheel. At 89 years old, he is just another one of them. There is no way his reaction time, his sight, or his hearing are what they really shoud be to drive safely. I feel bad that he had some type of issue that obviously contributed to this accident, but then, that is bungie's point - and a good one at that.

Hate to say it, but I thought the same thing.
I've talked to some of these women at fairs and they get these sunshine and roses promises of how much profit they will make - AFTER paying for this merchandise up front. The items are junk. Most people know better and don't fall for these vinyl cheesy knock-offs.

I'm with intheloop here. I also think people just freak out over anything new. Statistics?

Oxycontin addicts? They have no problem staying jacked up on their 'prescription only' drug.
I am a law abiding tax paying citizen who now will once again be inconvenienced by just wanting an over the counter medicine to help me get through my WORK day thanks to these loser meth-heads.
And you know what? These same meth cookers will already have Plan B by the time this stuff is not on store shelves.
