Good point James but even when bin Laden was alive he was more of a CIA prop/stooge than anything else. For starters there is no proof connecting him to 911. Walk into your local post office and see what crimes he's charged with, as well as the crimes he's NOT charged with (hint: he's not charged for the "day that changed everything")
While I think it's fascinating whether he's alive or dead, it's not really relevant. More important to me is the fact that he was once on the CIA payroll.

Being a libertarian or anarchist versus being an authoritarian really has little to do with left right divisions. It's all about your attitude towards authority vs liberty.
As the people at Political Compass theorize (and I'm sure this comes from somewhere else originally) our political viewpoints can be mapped on an x and y axis. The x axis is left v right, but the y axis is libertarian/anarchist vs authoritarian.
