Well said. No one should kill to shut up criticism or just being offended. There are many insults thrown at all not just any religion and those that reacted negatively especially with killing of another cannot sanely said that they did it to protect the good name of their religion or their god or prophet. It is ironic that the very action that were carried out to allegedly protect the good name of their god in reality bring about the opposite effect and caused fear and hatre along the way. It as stated by Tun M that that if one understand Islam or the teaching of Quran, one should not be afraid of Islam or its followers/believers. The issue here is not that we do not understand but the way the followers carried out such attacks did not aligned itself to what Tun M is saying. Their very action speak volume and sow fear around the community. We would love to see that peace loving muslim come out in great number to allay our concern and to stand in solidarity with all human being of any and all religions.

Wow, why the need to mentioned that the accused is involved with Malaysia security matter and that our country need the accused to be back! What is the issue here? The accused is charged for offence that does not relate to his alleged membership of a triad but rather operating illegal betting and such. At best the accused's lawyer would just seek clarification as to whether the accused is in fact a member or otherwise of the said triad on the assumption that it is relevant to the accused defense of the charges against him. But here it is not so the case. Why go into the issue that the accused has been advising our country on security matter! Where is the relevant? If is not to show support then it is sheer stupidity to mentioned this! The clincher that this letter is written to show support is the last few lines stating that the accused "according to our records, has on numerous occasions, assisted the Govt. of Malaysia on projects affecting our national security and accordingly we continue to call upon him to assist us from TIME TO TIME (emphasis is mine) and as such we are EAGER (emphasis is mine again) for him to return to Malaysia" Why go into such matter and the need to make the above quoted statement?
Upfront payment to ensure that when thing don't get sorted at least future is assured. There is such a thing as an upfront incentive payments/remuneration for "talent". Have paid such so called incentive to recruit a supposedly top engineer in the past! Was a really bad experience for the company and me!
Granted there is technical hitches - once resolved why so many other places instead of flying back directly back to Malaysia? It is quite acceptable for PM to state that due to a technical issue will have to wait for a day or even two to fly to enable the technical issue of the plane to be resolved to save on cost instead of getting another plane to fetch him! I am sure most Rakyat will understand. But now another plane to fetch the PM and then the Government plane that sufferred technical hitches apparently been fixed almost immediately was flying across the globe! Don't tell the us now that it is to test the plane after the "technical hitches" have been fixed! The reason given in relation to the PM private trip to Bangkok really make thing worse... (Is the trip to Hawaii a private trip or official trip?) The rakyat is suffering and here we have all these unnecessary expenses. Surely the plane could have flown back to KL directly from Hawaii after the repairs of the technical hitches were completed!!!

Hello all, There is a huge flood happening in many parts of Malaysia that is more pressing and in need of aids & etc. This guy is a waste of time and shocking to know that he sit in the PM Islamic Council or something like that! Don't the other muslim questioned his credential if he has one?
The main concern here now is to see how aids can be quickly and efficiently dispense to the affected victims. Hudud is another matter and whether it is God's sign or not it is not for the MP to say or anybody. Stealing, corruption, murder and etc will continue regardless of Hudud or any criminal law regime due to human weakness greed and etc. What we need is to create an environment of support and care where such human weakness is mitigated and positive values be nurtured. Fear has never win and it never will. At this moment, it is time that those who are able shower their follow Malaysian with love and care in whatever ways seen appropriate. It is not a time for those political nonsense. It is time for the nation to rally together as one for the victims. Finger pointing and etc won't help those that are in distress and pain. Time to put aside our ridiculous bickering if I may say so and focus on the solution. Time to work together to relieve the pain and suffering caused by this widespread flooding and for leaders to seriously work for the good of the rakyat after this sad episode to focus on implementing flood mitigation measure where possible.
What has CM of Penang got to do with Christmas celebration. There is no need for anyone around. Christian is celebrating the birth of Jesus. We are mere human including the CM of Penang. The celebration won't be any grandeur if the CM is around. What is grand and important that we know why we are celebrating.
