Apply the Article 50 law as it stands? We invoked it. We have to ask for an extension and get the unanimous agreement from the heads of government of the remaining EU27.

But not extending the time limit would effectively chuck us out of the EU, which is why I believe the EU has consistently allowed an extension because they don't want to be painted as the bad guys in this. And they are not.

The ECJ interprets law according to the various EU treaties. Stop believing your own propaganda.

There is no provision in EU law to eject a member state.

Your comment goes beyond the histrionics displayed elsewhere here and ends up as despicable. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Britain has always been at war with Ireland. Sorry, I mean Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia. Or so it would seem to Caleyman.

"...you clearly have no sense of place, no sense of belonging, no sense of community, no sense of being part of anything"...erm, the answer to all of those would be the EU?

Because they wouldn't want to feel any sense of security in the event of no-deal Brexit, now would they? As individuals? Not as part of some monolithic institution sponsored event?

Seeing only EU motivations in really paranoid. Get help.

So you're willing to meddle in the affairs of another country, with potentially catastrophic results, for the sake of domestic point scoring? Such...integrity.
