Hi guys, my 3G is jailbroken and unlocked with red and Ultrasn0w. Now, I get this message: "Error Couldn’t configure pre-depend dpkg for ncurses, probably a dependency cycle" when I try to install new applications through Cydia. I know that you need to re-jailbreak with Redsn0w without installint icy and this would fix the problem. If I rejailbreak will I lose the unlock? Thanks
Can someone give me this information? I have the 3G already updated to 3.0. I will install Redsnow and then install Ultrasn0w. Now, I have the official ATT contract and in 2 weeks will move to europe, so will keep ATT for 2 more weeks. During the installation of ultrasn0w do I need to remove the SIM card, yes or no? I see people saying that you need to remove the sim card at a certain point but I do not know when and if I need to do it. Thanks

So if I use quickpwn ATT will still recognize my SIM. I will need Ultrasn0w anyway because I am moving to Italy. So the issue of installing quickpwn is only for those who wish to use the iphone before ultrasn0w is released, with a different carrier. Correct?
Ok. I am probably too old and getting confused. I have a 3G with ATT with 2.2.1 and 02.30.03. If I install the 3.0 and then install the new quickpwn then I need to wait for Unltrasn0w to reactivate my phone because it won't work, is that right?
