I don't know of any gay/lesbian groups getting special government funding or have a congressional charter. But if there are any and they discriminate against heterosexuals then their funding should also be stopped.
I agree the BSA are in their rights to discriminate. They should however have their congressional charter revoked. The argument that the Scouts have the right to a charter and government support is nonsense at this point. The congress of the United States should not be supplying special charter to any organization that declares entire classes of US citizens unfit for membership.
I work for Boeing, if Boeing is going to continually outsource, build plants and move jobs out of the state, then the Governor has every right to explore bringing Airbus jobs into Washington. This may provide jobs for the many workers Boeing has been laying off by transporting their jobs out of state.
I am seeing racoons all over my property, they are crawling under my house and doing a lot of damage. I am sure it is because we are developing all over Puget Sound. They are also very aggressive animals. Lots of people have been attacked.
It is not known that Zimmerman returned to his vehicle and was attacked from behind by Martin. That is only his story, which contradicts the story of the girlfriend. We have a police report that Zimmerman was bloodied and that a witness says he saw the two men fighting.
We don't know how the fight got started, which is central to whether or not Zimmerman committed a crime.
The fact that Zimmerman's head was bloodied was never in question, even though the media did inaccurately try to claim that it wasn't. The police report indicated that he had blood on the back of his head and nose. There is also a witness who saw the two men fighting.
What we still don't know is how the fighting got started. This is the key to the whole thing. Zimmerman's story contradicts the girlfirend's story. If everything Zimmerman says is true (or can't be refuted without additional witnesses) then that is one thing. If the fight was started some other way then that is something else.
I never doubted that Zimmerman had injuries, the police report mentioned them. Also there are witnesses to the fight. What I am dubious about is that Trayvon attacked him without provocation. We seem to have no witnesses to how the fight got started and Zimmerman's story to me is not believable.
Zimmerman had no business confronting Trayvon in the first place. Trayvon was not doing anything suspicious, he had a right to be in the neighborhood doing what he was doing. He may have been defending himself from Zimmerman. Zimmerman needs to be arrested.
I will openly blame this new policy as an attitude of the far-right again. More attempts to establish structure in our society to find ways to control people. What kind of person would demand that you give them any kind of password you hold?
We need a website that lists companies that require Facebook passwords.
