We, and several other of your constituents strongly urge you to support House Journal Resolution 41 that is an Amendment that would bind the President to the US Dollar and prevent ditching the US Dollar and going to a "Global Currency". Here, on the advent of the G20 summit, the activities in our, and the global, economy over the past several months, along with several of our uneasy allies calling for the adoption of a global currency has many Americans fearful of losing our sovereignty as a nation.
Please keep the United States a nation free from the will of foreign powers

I, too, think the National sales tax is the way to go. It would have to be crafted correctly though to avoid the left's claims that it imposes a unfair burden on the poor. It wil need to exclude the necessitites of life: food (Meat, dairy, vegetable, fruit, bread, cereals, etc) not beer, chips, pretzles, or M&M's (Sorry, Glenn). That way, the "poor" still pay their share when they buy their flat screen TV's and Wii's. Clothing is an obstacle, but not an insurmountable one. I've gone bak and forth on that one several times in my own head.
