it's great news, but the battle isn't won. Your communities can be implementing Agenda 21 without ICLEI. Anytime you have 'sustainability' or 'sustainable development' beware.....that is what Agenda 21 was all about. Look to your local comprehensive plan and zoning codes. There is where the danger lies.

Who do you suppose is supplying thousands of jobs? The oil and gas industry that you want to shut down. It CERTAINLY is not the government!

and it is about time to step out of la-la-land and finally admit that 'cheap, alternative energy' is a pipe dream. Solyndra, anyone?
Ethanol, anyone? The law of unintended consequences came back and bit us in the rear on that whole debacle. These alternative energy scams only succeed on the backs of tax payers. There is no such thing as 'cheap'.
Except for maybe the way these 'green' companies whore themselves out for gov't largess.
And the rest of us get screwed.

The "Occupy Wall Street" movement needs a serious injection of reality. But instead they will get an infusion of socialist/marxist labor union members [astro-turf at its finest] injected into the movement by their union handlers in order to gain even more traction in the press.

The Congressional Black Caucus confirmed this. According to CBC Chairman Emanuel Cleaver, if it were any other president failing to address the unemployment rate, the unhappy members of the CBC would be marching on the WH.

So, I guess the Senate now expects the House to bend over and pass the infamous 'Gang of 6' travesty trotted out earlier this week, which is no real plan, but lots of 'promises' to deal with the spending...after the debt ceiling is raised, of course.
You know, the one that Obama lauded - so it's GOT to be good, right? /sarc

The HOUSE must stand firm and McConnell better find his backbone in the Senate.

Oh, and the 3 notorious GOP senators in the 'Gang of 6' should prepare their staff members for unrelenting phone calls and emails, not just from ticked off voters in their home districts but from around the nation. Melt those phone lines!!

We need to flood the Senate with calls and emails, demanding they get behind Cut, Cap and Balance. Force the Dems in the Senate to stand against it, if they dare. People are wising up...though slowly. But if the Dems refuse to pass this, they will have to face their constituents. It will be up to the informed voters in their districts to make sure the electorate remember the incumbents' refusal to pass this legislation.

I say, stand up and holler!! We've marched around the city enough, it is now time to raise a shout and bring this wall of big government and overspending down and consign it to the dust-heap of history!!

bad news - the wolves are now in OR, so they'll be making short work of the elk. The wolves are also causing losses on OR ranches near the Idaho border. ID, MT and WY ranchers have been living with this scourge for over 20 years, and wolf packs are either migrating into OR and WA or have been secretly released....or most likely both.
