Some one help me here. How does rising oil prices create more profit for the oil companies?
If the price of wheat goes up does the bakers profit go up, too?
If the price of making a car increases does the auto industry make more profit?

Both sides of the aisle are bound and determined to destroy social security. Why?
My guess is the US Treasury Bonds they used as i.o.u.' s is about to mature and they don't want to pay up.

Kodak lost favor with me when it discontinued Ektar 25 iso color film and Technical Pan black and white film. Ektar was an extremely fine grained film with vivid colors. "Tech" pan was the only black and white film discribed as having micro fine grain. It was the standard other manufactures aspired to.
So, as far as I'm concerned, I hope Kodak enjoy its ride down the toilet.

The Pledge was written in 1892. It wasn't until 1954 that "..under god " was added. This web site tells of it's history. It also explains the history of the salute. http://www.ushistory.org/documents/pledge.htm
