Agreed. There is a definite and urgent need to address this disparity before it becomes bigger.

You would need to speak to airtel on this.

If you have a Nokia phone, consider the SMS Spam Manager. It is available from their Ovi Store.

as more people have an online presence, it would be interesting how interests and learning define a person's identity and break the clutter. can this be taught ?

to me, learning is an aggregation, over a lifetime , of sometimes unrelated ideas, concepts that may present a solution to a situation in the future. this understanding came to me much later though ..

in a sense the two words that are primary are future and dynamic, whereas what one learnt in the structured courses was defined and seemed to imply mastery as opposed to being a starting point .

since structured courses seemed to imply mastery any further inputs moved towards even more specialisation. the person then follows it up in work decisions too and perhaps a centrist safety first approach.

in a sense the starting point of edge discovery is individual interests and strengths and how they link to opportunities in future. not enough is actually considered until much later.

monika, your insightful comment made me think about the actual difficulty in applying such thoughts to make education responsive. thank you!

Thanks Salil, I like your thoughts. Amongst other things, I for one have decided to not use the horn at all. Makes a huge difference in the way one drives.
