There was a massive influx in South Wales, mainly from England, but also from Ireland and Scotland, 200,000 Italians also came to South Wales during that period, you can see their decendants everywhere.

As for the Welsh culture, there is no difference to that of England except Plaid have changed the law to stop the English getting public sector jobs, they want to extend this law to the private sector. Only 20% speak Welsh and most of those speak 'pidgeon' Welsh.
