Thanks for the note of support. Like you, I know that we need to fix our tax code and am serious about getting it done. I have been a proponent of the flat income tax for sometime, but like you, know that only when we know the true cost of government, will we fix this problem.
 
I have been studying the concept of a fair tax, and if you have spoken with Doug about me, he will tell you I am open to any good ideas to fix this problem.
 
I am very afraid that if we adopt a fair tax, without killing the income tax, then we will wind up with both and show me how we prevent congress from spending all of it if we let them. Simplify and reform our tax code and you eliminate almost all lobbyist in DC!
