It is a nice story about a man who was able to escape into a white enclave, where a close-knit community of WASPs and Mormons coexist to keep their way of life alive. I recall they created a high fee for "picnicking" in their park to keep the Mexicans out. So, it IS good to see another white guy head over to Lyons and keep their values alive. Most people in Lyons pack their own heat, so he doesn't need a gun. Too bad about his experience in a suicide by cop incident. Everyone knows the cops shoot first here in Colorado, and it is a sure way to off yourself.

Children at Summit do well because their parents are wealthy and connected. Those connections get their kids into good colleges, and get them good jobs later in life. That's life. Those who hire look at the demographics too.
And you're quoting what research? We're losing here in the US. Research is heading overseas. The middle class is exploding in S. America, India, and China. It is contracting here. You're a liberal bag of hot air.
Why should all learning be fun? Have you witnessed or participated in a football practice? That's not "fun". Have you practiced hours and hours doing scales to become a concert pianist? That's not fun. I can go on and on. Practice is not always fun. Train for a sub 2:30 marathon. That isn't fun. It's work - hard work. Why do you liberals want every child to get their A's and have fun? That's why we're losing as a nation. You do homework to become proficient. When you master one level, the skills provide the tools to move to the next. You won't be balancing a chemical equation without algebra, and you won't be doing much in physics without calculus. You must master those subjects before you can have "fun" with classical physics. If you think the math behind quantum mechanics is "fun" to learn, you're kidding yourselves. Of course, few have the intellect to learn at such a high level. MOST of your kids aren't really college material. They are not intellectually gifted enough. MOST are not NFL material. Yet, you all think your kids belong in college. They need skills, but they aren't college material - they aren't smart enough. That's why college is now a worthless piece of paper for most, and why most end up in the service industry with their college degrees today.
News flash: There may be an asteroid on a collision course with earth, and life as we know it will end.
