I can appreciate what you're trying to do with this, but:
A. Rap sucks
B. The demographic that likes rap won't get the historical references
C. Rap sucks
D. The demographic that appreciates the historical stuff aren't, as a rule, fans of rap

They (I mean, WE) need to support indie films with public funding so the filmmakers can afford to pay the multi-million dollar salaries of Damon, Depp, and Clooney et al, along with using use Union labor for all the behind the scenes jobs.

I mean...come on. Imagine how much better those indie films would be if they were directed by Spielberg and starred Johhny Depp.

The enemy we are fighting not only does not FEAR death, they actively SEEK death. So how to temper their will to fight and die? Hmmmm. It's a puzzlement. If only they had some really strict set of rules that must be adhered to or else they are denied their martyr's paradise.

In the past two years, I have been inside a movie theater exactly twice. One movie was positively meh, the other was good. Not worth the ticket price good, but good enough that I didn't feel totally ripped off.

Every other movie I have watched has been a Redbox rental. When you eject the disc and the general mood in the room is "Well, it only cost a buck to rent it.", that's not a good sign. And it's not an isolated incident. It's movie after movie after movie. Big "stars", big budgets, big name directors and the movies stink on ice.
