this just came in an email to me, wanted to share:

Did you notice how quietly, late Friday, the Senate Finance Committee disclosed that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac plan to pay more that $210 million in bonuses to executives next year as an incentive to stay on their jobs? This is on top of the $146 million paid out this year. Unbelievable!!
Did you also notice Sen. Dodd is in hiding? Barney(the Banking Queen)Frank is not asking for the names of the people who will be receiving the bonuses, as he did with AIG? And, no word from Obama, who previously said he would "do everything we can to get those AIG bonuses back". That's because, as we all know, these three have received hundereds of thousands of dollars in kick-backs from Fannie and Freddie. I've witnessed greedy two-faced politicians all of my life, but these people have taken it to a new level and continue to jam it down our throats day after day. Keep sending those tea bags until we can vote them out of office.

I'm a Michigander, and although we long thought GM has to be re-organized, the board should have "fired" their CEO Wagoner , but I never thought a President could have the power to fire him. This is once again unprecedented. If he goes this far, then he should fire Gettelfinger as well, but what would the Union say to that?

I sent an email to our MI senator Levin - it bounced back undeiverable because his mailbox is full. Probably hundreds of people had the same idea to tell him vote no on the budget or he'll be out next term (I would never vote for him)
I also emailed a local conservative radio host to advertise on his show the upcoming tea tax party in Lansing.

I've given up supporting Hollywood a long time ago, especially the likes of Sean Penn, Susan Sherandon etc. Recently shocked a friend of who wanted to go see the movie "Milk", I said, no way am I supporting him and what he stands for.

Someone mentioned recently on these posts to hang our flags to show how united we are. Although I think this to be a good idea, it would not really identify us and our goals. Instead I was thinking, if someone could come up with a great idea/logo sign that we could put in our yards, bumperstickers etc. Every state could have a local distributor. It's an idea in the making, let me know what you think.

I hear yesterday on NPR that the Obamas are planning to take down paintings in the White House of Presidents that had slaves. I think the paintings are the people's paintings, as the White House is the people's house and the President and his wife live there as guests. It's part of American history, like it or not. what do you think?
