If Dems were rooting for Newt, the liberal media wouldn't be in an all out attack on the guy. I don't think he's the perfect candidate but he is easily the only one of the two who can effectively demonstrate the differences between conservatism and that radical leftist in the White House. Romney won't do it because he is simply not a conservative.

What he is proposing is not amnesty. Conservatives need to move beyond slogans to real solutions for a long term problem and Newt's plan does that while effectively curtailing the flow of illegal immigrants into this country.

I LOVE this interview.

"Once the demonization (of conservatives) is broken down, its just about who's ideas are better."

This is why the left feels they simply cannot allow a minority conservative like Herman Cain or Rubio to be successful on the national stage. The left desperately needs that demonization to keep their constituents in the fold and not asking any questions and its just too easy to demonize white male conservatives.

Whoever the nominee is, Newt HAS to be a part of their campaign. He's the best at countering the agenda of the left and articulating the conservative solutions.
