Yet again another top write up from SJ Chandos. I aways find myself agreeing with his blogs! Actually the main reason I read this site!!! Dembe Ba has signed today so lets hope he can cut the mustard!!! Does this mean Carlton Cole is on the way out thou? I know we can stay up, the Everton game was a top example of what we can do. Boa Morte was as always working hard and good in tracking back and helping the defence out but he still has a first touch that is often to heavy when going forward. If Hitz (back soon) can show the promise of pre season then you have to look at him on the left, Specs on the right and Scotty n Nobes in Central mid, for the rest of Season. COYI.

Yet again a very acurate and fair post by Mr Chandos, I find myself a huge fan as I can only ever fully agree with his posts. I think this whole game would of been so very different if we started Faubert at right back and either Da Casta (injury stopped that I know) or Gabs in the centre. It was a huge mistake to throw young Reid straight into the Prem like that esp alongside a young Tomkins who himself needs to gain some confidence after last season. Grants sellection goes further into the world of... What the F..., as he starts Kovac.

I believe the boys will come good. One game is no way to measure a season, lets move on from here and fast.

Hi All. Been a Hammer since birth in 1973 after having the misfortune of being born in Upney Hospital. Now live out in Wickford,Essex. Anyhow, thats not why I'm here, I'm here because I can't praise S J Chandos enough. I only came across this site due to an iphone ap I downloaded last year. Since then I have been addicted to reading S J C's entries! Everytime I read something he has wrote I find myself nodding in agreement. How refreshing it is to find someone passionate yet realistic who doesnt have to write f*** this of f*** that like some idiots I see on Westhamonline and the like. I used to always go to the official club site then read KUMB and often sift through BBC sport. However this site is now going to be part of my day, every day.

Thank you Iain for the site, thank you SJC for your opinions, And thanks Mum and Dad for dragging me up in such a rough area that I grew to Love and Support the Mighty Irons.
