This situation was one of the reasons I left Virginia after 24 years and moved to Texas. I lived in Fauquier County where a mosque was being built. Needless to say the residents were not real happy about the idea but there was nothing they could do about it. I look forward to the day my son completes his Navy tour and leaves Norfolk for San Antonio next spring.
I want to send out a thank you to every veteran past and present. Thank you for your sacrifice and love of the best country in the world. A special shout out to my son OS2 Blalock on the USS Ramage, thank you for making me one of the proudest parents in the world. Congratulations on your recent promotion!
