I agree with beebop obviously the father didnt have any intention of caring for the baby but only wanted to gain for himself. seems to me if he wanted to save the baby he would have offered money to the mother instead of asking for it. It is truly blackmail at its highest level. No where in the court reports was the mother wanting to sell the baby to the aunt and uncle if so she would have been charged not the father she most likely just wanted to give it a loving home where she could continue to be part of the babys life.
