I don't agree with the idea of a DNA database. That is too much information in one spot. Even if it were supposedly private someone could probably find a way to get in

A virtual government would be very interesting. The current owners/creators seem like they can do whatever they want. It would be fun to see how they conduct the election if democracy were the choice. I suppose they could create voting stations and conduct an actual election

It's astounding to me how much money is invested in these virtual worlds. Like Brian and Sam said, they soon might be able to rival small countries GDP. unbelievable

I can't believe that people invest real money (especially this amount of money) in something tangible. however, it sounds like the guy is making money off of it so I guess it's a good investment

I think that virtual property should have real value but not necessarily equal value to the object in real life.

Global warming is a problem created by society and I would contend that nearly every individual on the earth today has done something that in some way contributed to it. Absurd idea to try and pin it on an individual in court.

I think that there is a high probability that this lawsuit will eventually occur. I think something like this will eventually happen for facebook as well. Personally, I think the idea is pretty ridiculous and both would get turned down in court but I can definitely imagine this situation.

I think there might be a situation where some of this technology becomes useful. The part that bothers me is the deletion. If your emotions and instincts are removed, what are you left with?

I don't understand how the mind can be transferred to a computer. Consciousness and the mind is dependent on the situation. would the computer be able to respond to any situation?
