Clark,
What would their differences be? I certainly see differences, but theologically they are similar and of course all three, especially Keller amd Mohler - appear regularly on the web site and in videos. Probably Ed (who said he was not part of Gospel Coalition last nite on twitter) has the least formal involvement but still alligns well with them - appears in TGC videos etc.
So what would you see as their differences on "missional."

Steve, I agree with your sentiment, but of course leading the church missiologically has its own set of problems ... so let's us converse more on this ... Your assertion is a good one ... Blessings!

At the risk of being perceived as overdramatic, I had to choke back the tears reading these comments. Blessed to be among you all.
And Jason ... thanks again ... and next time I'm in LA ... let's share a beverage ... but don't expect JR Woodward or Rozko to pick up the tab ... they're broke like the rest of us ... they just look better fed.
peace bro ... DF

Bob,
Roxburgh's book is a refinement and exploring of the cultural mindset of church in the mode of being church. I didn't agree with everything, but for me it was the best exploration of his keynote ideas yet (and best written). Van Gelder's book needed to be done. It fleshed out in detail, unbelievable detail, the history of the development of the various streams of missional. I found it immensely insightful and helpful.

peace bro.

Mike,
Kung's book is still he greatest book of ecclesiology I have read ... And tho this may seem counterintuitive, a good place from which to then engage the missiology questions ...
