First, the DC cop is a liar. Second is ignorant of constituional law. He justified this police state action by saying it was a 1st amendment protest. It was not. The 1st amendment protects speech in a PUBLIC FORUM, not on private property.

If this was a 1st amendment protest, then the local polce dept. in San Francisco would be permitted to escort busloads of tea partiers to Nancy Pelosi's home while she was home, and just stand by while the protesters trampled Pelosi's property and screamed through bullhorns.

Police taking political sides and allowing the law to be broken to furhter political agendas is the nothing more than a police state.

This was thuggery by union people (including cops) and under teh great divider Obama, it has now become us against them.
