Penrose was open source before Red Hat acquired Identyx. Jim Yang and his team will now work for Red Hat. There are plans to integrate Penrose into the IPA product line, but not so tightly that Penrose could not be used as a stand-alone product. I think this is great news for Penrose and Red Hat users, and yes, I am sure that Red Hat will now get more actively behind it!
