I like Sprouts and Sunflower. Both have a slightly different vibe and product selection, and I hope that doesn't change much in the merger. Both have really friendly help, and so does my local King Soopers, though since Krogers bought King's things have gradually gotten worse.

That said, my faves are Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage, though the one in Boulder is way too small, and A B Fruteria & Carniceria at 29th & Bluff. When I was there this morning there was a long line for the fresh menudo, chicharrones and barbacoa.

I agree. It's difficult to get up to 65mph on the short westbound Table Mesa on-ramp. If the the speed limit was cut to 55mph between Table Mesa and Baseline it would cost drivers all of 20 seconds. They did this pre-1972 when the speed limit on the Turnpike was 70mph in order to get down to a reasonable speed by Baseline.

Paisan, there are two kinds of people: Those who are Italian and those who want to be Italian.

Culantro is Eryngium foetidum. Cilantro is Coriandrum sativum. I've been told they taste similar, but cilantro tastes like soap to me but culantro does not.

"If that pipe breaks?" It runs through seismic regions. It will break. It will pollute the Ogallala aquifer.
You are correct that we can't eat oil.

Mick, It was probably Crystal Market that started this snowball. They were a cheap health market, bought by Wild Oats, who later bought Alfalfa's, and who was later bought by Whole Foods.

Wasn't this Hanna Kroeger's restaurant? Man that was a great lunch, and it was really inexpensive.
