Peratrators count on people like you that do not believe the victim and in turn you help to perpetuate the violence already caused to this victim by your victim blaming. It must have been the victims fault because blah, blah, blah. Look at your local news lately and see that we have a huge increase in the number of these cases coming forward. And to anyone who has been a victim I am sorry that you have gone through this. Also to any victims who have yet to come forward you have 10 years from the date you turn 18 to report the sexual abuse to your local law enforcement.
