I believe statistics show that a criminal executed for his/her crimes are unlikely to commit the same crime again....so yes, the death penalty is most effective deterrent.

I was under the impression a platoon size force climbed to the top Of Mt. Suribachi on a recon mission...with very few expecting to survive. A planted flag does not constitute conquest.

And this is suppose to be a shocking revelation? Insider information, Kerry mooring his "small" boat in another state, Sen. Nelson moving Bovines, passing laws on the common folk that do not apply to themselves...the hypocritical attitude and financial corruption in these pack of thieves is astounding. What would happen if WE passed a law stating that there could be NO FINANCIAL GAIN other than salary while in office...I wonder if the people seeking office would thin.
